Defining Subluxation

Subluxation (sub' - luk - say' - shun) n. - 1.  a misaligned spinal bone (vertebrae) which causes compression, tension, irritation, and damage to the Central Nerve System.  2.  causes interference of the Central Nerve System.  3.  causes the organs and muscles of the body to malfunction and heal poorly due to the interference they create in the Central Nerve System.

How subluxation can affect your body

Subluxations are a result of the stress and trauma a person may experience throughout his/her lifetime. Some causes of subluxation include, but are not limited to:

In most scenarios, subluxations exist without any major symptoms or warnings. However, because subluxations interfere with the Central Nerve System, which controls all functions and healing of the body, symptoms will eventually arise. These symptoms then become the body's way of warning that something has been malfunctioning for an extensive period of time and and now requires immediate attention.

The purpose of a chiropractic evaluation in our office is to locate any existing subluxations that are interfering with your Central Nerve System. If we find subluxation on your exam results, nerve tests, and/or x-ray results, we can help you.
